Living costs
We generally advise that students should have sufficient funds to cover their tuition fees, plus at least £12,000 - £13,000 to cover living costs for one calendar year – this should be enough to cover accommodation, food, local travel, and a 'modest' social life.
How much you actually spend will depend on personal taste and lifestyle.
A key consideration is how you plan to manage your finances while you are in the UK. We recommend that you use the free UNIAID International Student Calculator to help you budget for your studies in the UK.
