New Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships for Autumn 2024 are being offered to international students living in India, as part of Birkbeck’s commitment to equality and diversity across all its full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

For full-time undergraduate degrees, recipients will receive a £500 tuition fee discount per year on enrolment for a maximum of three years, resulting in a total reduction of £1,500 (£500 per year over three years). For full-time master's courses, a £1,500 tuition fee reduction is provided for the first year of enrolment.

Prospective candidates must be international students paying international tuition fees and enrolled full-time in either undergraduate or master's courses beginning in October 2024. Additionally, applicants must meet the university's entry criteria and be ordinarily living in India. The scholarship will be automatically applied at the point of enrolment for all those who meet the eligibility criteria. Students in receipt of sponsorship by a third party will not be eligible for this scholarship.

Professor Sally Wheeler, Vice-Chancellor of Birkbeck, said, ‘We have long-welcomed students from around the world to study with us on our central London campus, including many who join us from India. I am delighted to continue to extend this welcome, as part of our commitment to equality and diversity, through a new scholarship for international students living in India.”
