Teaching

Tim teaches a variety of undergraduate modules including The Press in Britain, Media at War, Media and Society, and Research Methods. He also teaches the postgraduate module Theoretical Perspectives on Media, and contributes sessions on The Creative Industries: Theory and Context.

Tim is also Programme Director and 1st Year Tutor for the MA/PGCert in Journalism, Programme Director for the BA in Media and Business Applications, 2nd and 4th Year Tutor for the BA in Journalism, Director of Graduate Research and Chair of Research Ethics for the Department of Media and Cultural Studies, and Assistant Dean for Recruitment and Retention in the School of Arts.
