Bursary for London-themed modules: my East End
My East End is a partnership project involving The Bishopsgate Institute, Geffrye Museum, Four Corners (a centre for film ands photographic production and exhibitions) and Birkbeck, which is being supported by a successful bid from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The key aim of the project is to involve people in documenting and celebrating the rich heritage of the East End: its people, cultures, built environment and open spaces.
As part of this project, we are now able to offer bursary places on some of our London-themed certificate courses. These courses form part of our Certificate in Higher Education in History.
Are you eligible?
The bursary is open to students with no first degree or equivalent qualification and/or those who would be claiming concessionary fee status.
Courses with bursary places available are:
- London from the East: A Social History of the East End
- Everyday Life in Medieval London
- Discovering London's Squares
- London Spaces of Protest
- East London Guiding and Heritage
