10% discount for union members

• If you are a member of a union that is recognised by the TUC, you can claim 10% off all accredited Birkbeck courses.

Fees information: if you already have a university qualification

• If you already have a university qualification and you are thinking of doing another at the same level, you may be affected by the government’s Equivalent or Lower Qualification (ELQ) policy and have to pay a higher fee than someone who doesn’t already have a qualification.
• Find out more about fees for students who already have a university qualification.

Home or overseas student fees

• Your classification for fees purposes - whether you pay fees as a 'home' or 'overseas' student - will be determined in accordance with Home Office guidelines (please check our residence requirements if you're not sure whether you qualify as a Home student).
• Some overseas students can study part-time - find out if you meet the part-time overseas eligibility criteria.
