The Preprint Series consists of papers written by researchers in the mathematical sciences at Birkbeck.

Each May we jointly run a one-day conference with the British Society for the History of Mathematics, co-organised by Sarah Hart.

The group hosts a series of seminars in Pure and Applicable Mathematics. Presentations are given by staff or invited external speakers. All are welcome to attend.

Birkbeck supports the London Algebra Colloquium, a collective started in the 1950s to celebrate the algebra community.

Birkbeck is one of the four vertices of the Manchester-Birmingham-London-Bristol Groups and their Applications ''Triangle'.
