Research Centres of the School of Business, Economics and Informatics, Birkbeck, University of London simultaneously generate business, social and academic impacts. Research Centre Impact Days organised by the BEI intend to share awareness of our impacts with a broader audience and to offer a platform to explore opportunities for further collaboration.
During this first of a series of impact days, the Research Centres of the Department of Management, discuss how they address some burning socioeconomic challenges - ranging from sports governance, innovation and regional inequality, the use of data to address fire and rescue service challenges, and solutions to climate change associated risks.
