If you work (or would like to work) with children and young people and have an interest in children’s development, mental health and emotional well-being, then this series of free lectures will be of interest to you.
Over the next 4 weeks we will be offering 5 mini lectures that showcase our work on the Foundation Degree in Psychology for Education Professionals and the BA Psychology for Education. The issues covered have been chosen as particularly relevant in the current times and are ideal for anyone working with children and young people who has an interest in psychology and/or anyone who wants to find out more about our approach on the psychology for education programmes.
In this first session, we will focus on the concept of resilience and the links between resilience and education. We will also discuss specific strategies to nurture resilience especially in children and young people. The session will include the opportunity for discussion and a question-and-answer session.
