When:
Venue: Online

Book your place

If you work (or would like to work) with children and young people and have an interest in children’s development, mental health and emotional well-being, then this series of mini lectures will be of interest to you.

This is the second of a series of 5 mini lectures that showcase our work on the Foundation Degree in Psychology for Education Professionals and the BA Psychology for Education.  The issues covered have been chosen as particularly relevant in the current times and are ideal for anyone working with children and young people who has an interest in psychology and/or anyone who wants to find out more about our approach on the psychology for education programmes.

In this session, we will explore attachment theory and relate it to the impact on brain development and on learning. We will also explore behaviours that may be seen in the classroom as a result of different attachment styles, and we will discuss specific strategies that can be used to support children in the classroom. The session will include the opportunity for discussion and a question-and-answer session.
