Have you ever found a library skills workshop taking place in the week but the timing didn't suit you? In October and November, we run a series of Saturday workshops, where we cover some of the most popular library sessions in one day. Some of the topics covered include:
- Knowing where to go to find the best resources available to you (e.g. books, eBooks, journal articles, reports).
- Improving your search skills to get better results.
- Understanding different resources and learning to better evaluate the quality of these sources.
- Referencing skills and using reference management software (in particular, we focus on Zotero).
You don't have to attend every session, just the ones you think will be most useful for you. If you're interested in attending, click on the links below to sign up for the individual sessions.
Saturday 24th October:
Finding Journal Articles (14:00 - 15:00)

Saturday 14th November:
Finding and Using Books and eBooks (10:00 - 10:30)
Finding Journal Articles (10:45 - 11:30)
Introduction to Referencing (11:45 - 12:30)
