This session is part one of the Library Saturday Workshop taking place on the 24th October for Birkbeck students.
In this guided session, you will be given an in-depth introduction to searching for journal articles. By the end of this session you will:
- Know which databases to use to get the best results for you.
- Understand how to use filters and other functions available to you that you might not have used before.
- Learn how to use boolean operators (AND/OR/NOT) to improve your searching.
- Know where to go in the library to get further support.
This is a session suitable for students at all level of study and no prior knowledge is required.
