Academic Services Librarians

You can contact your Academic Services Librarian for support with finding and accessing library resources for your subject. You can also find guidance in our academic subject guide.

  • One-to-One Support

    We can support you with researching your topic, finding appropriate resources, accessing material for your studies, and referencing. We offer both online and in-person appointments for this.

    Online appointments:

    You can book an online appointment for one-to-one support here.

    Alternatively, we offer drop-in sessions Monday to Friday at 12.30pm – 1:30pm with no booking required. Click on "Drop-in session" to join the drop-in session, where you will be held in the lobby until the librarian on duty is available.

    In-person appointments:

    If you would prefer to meet in person, please email us at aslibrarians@bbk.ac.uk with a few suggested times and dates that would work for you, and a member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • About the Team

    There are four Academic Services Librarians at Birkbeck who can offer support to students on a multi-disciplinary basis for most queries. Each member of the team also supports a particular faculty:
