    • Most modules are assessed by an unseen formal examination and coursework.

  • Attendance
      • Three evenings a week (part-time).
      • One to two evenings per week (decelerated).
      • October–June.
  • Duration
      • Four years part-time.
      • Six years decelerated.
  • Entry requirements
      • Under 21: applicants require a minimum of two A-levels or equivalent.
      •  Over 21: students may be admitted as mature students based on their qualifications, skills or relevant experience, which may include:
        • any Level 3 qualification (such as A-level or Access to HE Diploma, NVQ Level 3, Cert HE in Management etc.)
        • relevant work experience.
      • Applicants are expected to have grade C GCS- level English and Maths. Applicants who do not meet this criterion and do not hold a Level 3 qualification may be required to carry out a skills audit at a selection evening, which comprises a mathematics test and an English test. The tests determine your potential to cope with, and benefit from, a particular degree programme.
      • English language requirements for non-native speakers should be equivalent to IELTS 6.5.

Management (BA) (Part-time) - 2012/2013 entry

Keep up to date with the rapidly changing environment in which organisations operate and compete, and become a confident manager or business practitioner. Gain an insight into a broad range of management issues in key areas such as strategic management, marketing, finance, operations management, human resource management, organisational behaviour, accounting, and managerial economics. This course is valued by employers, so career prospects are good.
