This Postgraduate Diploma in Analytical Bioscience provides advanced training for work and research in the molecular biosciences, biomedical and pharmaceutical sectors. You can gain extensive hands-on experience in a laboratory setting.

The course is designed to allow flexibility in attendance requirements, with material being delivered via a mixture of face-to-face classes, distance learning, practical classes, tutorials and a research project.

Course structure

You take three compulsory modules of 15 credits each, taught face-to-face, and one option module from either Analysis of Nanomaterials or Clinical and Biopharmaceutical Analysis.

You then take either a 60-credit distance learning module - Techniques in Structural Molecular Biology - or a research project (also worth 60 credits).
