AIB-UKI 2016

intro

International Business in a multi-speed global economy

International businesses, in their various manifestations, have arguably been among the stellar performers of the post-crisis global economy - marked by vacillating levels of growth, opportunities and risks across countries and sectors. They do so by deploying innovative, competitive and collaborative strategies and assiduously pursuing growth opportunities in diverse national, regional and global markets, including emerging and emerged frontiers. Despite these laudable efforts, the global economy has continued to stutter, remaining at best in a multi-speed dial. The 43rd AIB-UKI Conference aims to challenge IB scholars, practitioners and policy makers to reflect on ideas and strategies to further stimulate and access cross-border market opportunities and networks, and advance the global economy.
