Beverley Brown

  • Beverley is Academic Adviser and Skills tutor on the Diploma in Law (University of London International Programme: Laws) course. (From 2005 to 2009 she was Assistant Director (Academic Development) of the UoL IP Laws Programme.)

Stephen Connelly LLB (Warwick/Utrecht), Solicitor (E&W), Reg'd European lawyer (Frankfurt am Main)

  • Stephen will complete his doctorate on Spinoza and natural right at Birkbeck in 2012.  He is a practicing solicitor with experience in international finance, financial regulation, and litigation. Stephen will be teaching on the Introduction to International Finance Law module.

  • Rui holds degrees from the Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa and the Universidade Lusiada de Lisboa, and is a PhD student in the School of Law. Rui is teaching seminars on the European Union Law course.

  • Fred is currently the London Officer and Head of Office for the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, an international NGO that promotes Human Rights in Commonwealth countries.   • James, a graduate of Birkbeck School of Law, was a litigation solicitor in private practice prior to taking a full-time academic position at University of Northampton. With extensive experience advising on environmental issues for corporate, banking, property and the public sector, she is a recognised leader in her field.
