SUNRISE is a research project investigating experiences of climate change impacts, and coping and adaptation strategies, at diverse island communities in Orkney, Mauritius and Fiji. We aim to understand the unique needs and ambitions of each island community and identify common goals and challenges, to explore opportunities to share climate-resilient solutions across island communities in different parts of the world. Our work is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council.
