As as student here, you'll get access to the research facilities you need:
Labs and equipment
As a student here, you will have access to equipment such as an electron microprobe, scanning-electron microscope and an X-Ray diffractometer.
We have generous networked computing facilities and specialist laboratories, including:
- the microprobe suite, which consists of a Jeol8100 Superprobe with an Oxford Instrument INCA microanalytical system (EDS)
- the X-ray diffraction laboratory, which is equipped with a Philips PW 1710 powder diffractometer and PC-APD computer software

Our well-established links with other University of London colleges and the Natural History Museum mean students have access to numerous facilities in the capital. We also have strong contacts with industry.

As a student here, you will be able to access world-class library resources including:
