The Wellbeing Service runs a number of workshops to help students make the most of their time at university.

Term 1

Staying well at University

  • A wellbeing workshop designed to help you understand ways of maintaining health and well-being at university.

A Wellbeing guide for black students

  • This new online workshop is a chance for Black students at Birkbeck to find ways to improve wellbeing, connect and support other Black students, to think about your student journey and find resources designed to support you at university.

Adapting to University Life

  • A workshop designed to help you navigate this new chapter in your life. We will explore strategies for rising to new challenges and avoiding common pitfalls.

  • We are all unique and surrounded by differences, yet we struggle to talk about them. Join us for an interactive workshop that aims to help us explore the concept of difference, better understand how we can engage with it and deepen our understanding on how to be more inclusive.

Managing work life balance

  • A wellbeing workshop designed to help you consider the demands in your life and how to manage them better to restore balance and feel less stressed.

Navigating endings and transitions
