If you would like to get in touch with a member of the Careers and Enterprise team, or arrange a one-to-one appointment, you can use our ASK query service or email us. Examples of appointments include personalised career planning, CV reviews, application sessions and mock interviews.
If you have a disability and you require any reasonable adjustments to access our services, please email us with your requirements with as much notice as possible.
Events and workshops
We deliver a wide range of events and workshops throughout the year, including skills sessions, panel discussions, employer insight events and career workshops. We offer both online and in-person activities.

Information for Birkbeck Alumni
As a Birkbeck alumni, you can access our services for up to two years after graduation. This includes attending selected events, workshops and seminars delivered by our Careers and Enterprise service, booking one-to-one careers appointments, and support with searching and applying for job opportunities. Some events may be prioritised for current students, so we recommend that alumni check event details in advance to confirm eligibility. Recordings of selected past events are available on request by emailing the team.
Support is accessed via our portals for up to two years after you graduate:
- Career Access Portal (CAP) - Formerly known as Abintegro. Please log in via the CAP home page, selecting the ‘Graduates/Alumni’ option.
- Handshake, our career management platform. Visit the Handshake log-in page:
- Select Birkbeck, University of London, as your institution.
- Select the 'Sign in with your email address' option to create your account with your personal email address.
