Located just a five-minute walk from the elegant Russell Square, International Hall is located on Lansdowne Terrace, a location that couldn’t be more central to the bustling features of Bloomsbury and Kings Cross.
The day-to-day environment at International Hall is varied and exciting with facilities to suit every need. To relax you can make use of the site’s squash court, common room, pool tables, music room or TV room. You can also take part in the many groups that run such as yoga, running, ping pong or live music.
International Hall also has some of the best transport links in London with underground stations such as Russell Square and Kings Cross a short walk away.

Contracts
- Nominated students will sign an agreement with the University of London Accommodation Services. Once nominated by Birkbeck, all aspects of the student's contract and life in halls will be managed by the University of London.
- Contract duration: 40 weeks for catered rooms, 14 Sept 2025 - 20 June 2026.
- Students who have been offered a room in this hall can request early arrival when they receive their tenancy agreement from the University of London Accommodation Service. Requests for early arrivals will be dealt with exclusively by the University of London Accommodation Services. Please contact the University of London for further information.
- Contract extension after June 2026 can usually be applied for depending on availability. Contract extensions are arranged directly with the hall administration during term two.
- Rent includes utility bills and WiFi.
- A £500 deposit and administration fee will be payable to the University of London on receipt of the contract.
