    Research overview

My research to date has focused on developing theories of sustained minority ethnic mobilization. These theories challenge common assumptions that ethnic mobilization is a linear process, instead framing it as a complex, evolving phenomenon that can, in some cases, persist indefinitely. I have conducted fieldwork across the South Caucasus and Romania. I am now developing research on anti-base political mobilization in Okinawa, alongside political analysis in video game studies.
