    Biography

    Abdulrahman Al-Surmi is Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Business Analytics in the Department of Management at Birkbeck, University of London. His PhD was focused on the impact of business, IT, and marketing strategies (Triadic Strategic Alignment) on organisational performance. 

    Prior to joining Birkbeck, Abdulrahman was Lecturer in Business Analytics and course director of MSc Business Analytics at Coventry University. He has been involved extensively in teaching Business Analytics and Marketing Analytics to postgraduate and undergraduate students. He is also involved in supervising research dissertations at postgraduate level.

    Abdulrahman supervised over 40 postgraduate students and over 10 undergraduate students. Abdulrahman welcomes enquiries from prospective PhD students who are interested in undertaking research in any of the following areas:

    Teaching

    Abdulrahman previously taught Business Analytics, Business and Management Statistics, Quantitative Methods for Business, Applied Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics and Intelligence, and Business Decision Making.
