Dr Florian Steinberger

  • Overview



    Florian Steinberger was educated at the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne where he took a Maîtrise in philosophy and in mathematical logic. He then crossed the Channel to pursue graduate work at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Michael Potter where he received his Ph.D. in 2009. From 2008 to 2011, he held a Junior Research Fellowship at Queens’ College, Cambridge. Before joining Birkbeck in spring 2015, Florian was Assistant Professor in Logic and Philosophy of Language at the Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich and the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy. He continues to be an external member of the MCMP.
