Biography

Taimur supports the school's industrial placement programme, helping students during their year in industry to implement their skills in professional environments and develop essential career-building attributes. He consults for industry focusing on AI system security, the human dimensions of information security, and cyber governance. His research focuses on developing AI-driven anomaly-detection models for networking environments, cyber governance and risk management, and evaluating agentic AI tools for cyber-incident response.

He is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a member of both the British Computer Society (BCS) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
