Over 450 visitors have booked to attend Birkbeck’s first Undergraduate Open Day of 2025, this Saturday 18 January.
Birkbeck students graduated in ceremonies filled with inspiring stories, distinguished speakers, and recognition of their exceptional academic journeys.
Graduation ceremonies will take place from 3 to 5 December, with ceremonies also being live-streamed.
The role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Birkbeck’s research strategy and knowledge exchange framework.
Visits and personalised tours to iconic cultural venues ensure that students combine theoretical learning with real-world expertise in the art world.
The Natural Environment Research Council and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council are funding two new PhD training programmes to be delivered through a consortium of universities, one of which is Birkbeck.
The seminars will explore the impact and limitations as well as the promises and potential pitfalls of Artificial Intelligence.
The launch event showcased current research that is already helping to inform and guide approaches to current global challenges, as well as sharing insights into future projects.
The Brighter Futures Grants is an initiative developed in partnership with Santander Universities that’s aimed at providing students with funding to support their studies.
