This workshop will focus on finding relevant sources, especially academic journal articles, for your literature review. We will guide you through the process of developing and implementing a search strategy, including:

  • Identifying relevant databases and other places to search
  • Finding and combining keywords to “unlock” the databases
  • Focusing your search to exclude less relevant results
  • Evaluating the quality and relevance of your sources
  • Keeping track of the resources you intend to use
  • Locating sources beyond Birkbeck Library’s collections
