- Birkbeck and UCL jointly organise a weekly seminar series, to keep you abreast of groundbreaking research.
- Birkbeck staff and students can present their research at an informal seminar series.
- You can attend events organised by the Geological Society, the Mineralogical Society, the Royal Astronomical Society, the Royal Society and the Royal Institution, all in central London.
- Many academic conferences are held nearby and most offer discounts for research students.
