Module description

This course examines a variety of identities that shape modern politics. It investigates the origins of racism, imperialism and nationalism and how they have shaped political and cultural perceptions of both the dominant and subordinate groups at an international level. The course further explores how gender, class, multiculturalism and consumerism have done likewise within societies.
