alumni discount
- Birkbeck alumni are eligible to receive a tuition fee discount when enrolling onto a Master's degree (MA, MSc, LLM and MRes).
Subscription to BBK magazine and e-bbk
- All alumni automatically receive our award-winning magazine, BBK and e-bbk, our monthly e-newsletter. If you are not receiving the magazines and would like to, please update your details.
Careers Support from Birkbeck Careers and Enterprise
- As a former student, you can attend free events, workshops and seminars run by our careers support and employability team, Birkbeck Careers and Enterprise, book one-to-one appointments for careers advice and search and apply for jobs. All support is accessed via our Career Management Platform, Handshake. If you do not already have one, please register for a Handshake account with a personal, non-Birkbeck, email address.
- Birkbeck Careers and Enterprise also provides careers advice and plus job and micro-placement opportunities.
- You can also network with other Birkbeck graduates via our Birkbeck Alumni Network LinkedIn group.
Library membership

- As a former student, you can apply for alumni Library access at Birkbeck.

- University of London Library membership
- As a Birkbeck graduate, you are also eligible to join Senate House Library, the central library of the University of London.
- As part of your membership, you can borrow 10 books and access online resources including JSTOR.
- Three types of membership are available: three-month, six-month and one-year subscriptions.
