• General Statement of Health and Safety Policy:
  The Governors of Birkbeck, University of London  are committed to the provision of safe and healthy working conditions for all staff and students of Birkbeck and to the safeguarding of persons entering Birkbeck premises.
  
  Fire safety information:
  A range of fire safety information can be found via the above link.  Members of staff who are responsible for students or visitors should inform them of the fire procedures or issue them with copies which can be found here.

• List of first aiders (ITS username/password required - data protection):
  To summon a first aider - phone 555 from an internal Birkbeck phone and inform Main Reception of your requirement.  Most classrooms now have phones with appropriate instructions. First Aid boxes are kept at reception desk, in school offices and in all laboratory and workshop areas.

• Accident/incident report form:
  All unsafe incidents whether they result in an injury or a near miss must be reported on an accident report form available at: http://www.bbk.ac.uk/so/forms/accident
