Disability Support in the Library and IT Services
Birkbeck (Bloomsbury) offers a wide range of and Library support for students with disabilities (including mental health conditions), and dyslexia.
How to access Library and IT support
To access the range of services, please fill in the Study Support Plan on your My Birkbeck Profile. This will automatically register you with Library and IT disability support.
Please email us firstname.lastname@example.org or Tel 020 7631 6491 if you need:
- one-to-one Library support
- an induction and tour of the Library
- help learning how to use assistive technology
- other Library and IT services
If you would like to check whether you might have dyslexia you can take the LADS dyslexia screening test.
Use Sensus Access to convert a document from an inaccessible format, such as an image PDF, into an accessible one, such as a Word document, which can then be read using text-to-speech software or modified to suit your reading needs.
