Your Subject Librarian
The subject librarian for your department is your main point of contact with the Library. Contact details of Subject Librarians
Their main roles are:
- to liaise with the Schools and departments
- to manage the bookfunds
- keep you informed of service developments
- deliver information skills training to you and your students
Your subject librarian will be happy to attend School or department meetings when Library matters are discussed. Please make sure s/he is invited to staff/student exchange meetings so we can act on student feedback. If you are a new member of staff, please contact your subject librarian to arrange a meeting to discuss Library resources for you and your students.
