How to join the Library

Application forms are available at the Library membership desk or can be printed by clicking on the link below. Please bring photo ID and a passport-sized photograph with you. You may have access to the Library as soon as you have applied and borrowing will be activated within 2 working days.

• Reference use of the Library costs £35 per year
• Limited borrowing (5 items, excluding one-day loans) costs £70 per year

Membership is for one year from the date of joining. New alumni joining in the summer after graduation (from July to the end of September) will receive a 10% discount for borrowing membership (£63). Reference membership will remain at £35.

Reference one-day passes may be purchased for £6 (photo ID must be shown)

Please note the following restrictions:

• you will not have access to Library PCs or to printing. We do have a Walk-in Access PC with restricted access to the internet and those electronic resources licensed for walk-in access. For more information about this please enquire at the Help Desk.
• no access to the interlibrary loans and LAMP (postal loans) services.
• borrowing excludes one day loans
• you may not request material that is on loan
