New Students

Joining the Library

You will be entitled to a student ID card once you are fully enrolled. This will give you automatic Library access and borrowing. For more information about your ID card see the My Birkbeck student web site.

General library tours for this term have now finished but you can take a video tour of the Library.

Online Library tutorial

Basic information about the library collection, facilities and layout is also available via our online Library tutorial (LIFE) which is available 24 hours a day and can be dipped into as and when needed.
