The Department is responsible for the physical estate of Birkbeck College & for meeting the needs of this ever-evolving education and research establishment. Our service includes commissioning new buildings; maintaining and adapting our buildings, gardens and grounds; and various facility management issues in such diverse areas as energy management, cleaning and security.
