Contact the Student Advice Service

The Student Advice team is available and ready to answer all your queries about applying, studying and financing your studies. Whether this is to discuss your course options or to provide guidance on accessing extra financial support, we are happy to support you.

Phone and online support

You can continue to contact us via our online ASK form or by telephone on +44 (0)20 3907 0700 during the times stated below.

We love hearing from our students, and to ensure we are able to provide the best service possible, our phone line operating times are:

  • Monday to Thursday: 12-6pm
  • Friday: 12-5pm.

Visit us

The Student Advice Centre is self-service. You can use the screens to access your My Birkbeck and Moodle accounts.

If you want to speak to Student Advice, Wellbeing or Fees and Income, press the red button on the handsets located next to each one of our self-help PCs. If you need to speak to ITS, press the yellow button. Services are available during individual phone line operating times.

If you wish to speak to Student Advice in person, the Advice Centre will be staffed from:

  • Monday to Thursday: 4-6pm
  • Friday: 3-5pm.
