The Sophie Warne fellowship offers fees or maintenance award of £1,750 to one outstanding part-time or full-time Home postgraduate taught student studying the MA Creative Writing.

As part of this fellowship, a Cove Park residency and an award of £1,750 is also awarded at Exam Board to a high achieving graduating student.

Eligibility

You must have been offered a place or be currently studying on the MA Creative Writing.

You must be a registered Birkbeck student, studying on a programme that is based at our Bloomsbury campus in London (this includes programmes delivered online).

The award is based on the quality of the work and financial need. 

Value

£1,750 to be used for tuition fees or maintenance. 

If your programme is over multiple years then the payment will be split across those years.
