Current Project: Creativity at the Speed of AI (2025-)

AI is transforming creative production and the speed at which it occurs. Texts, sounds, images, and designs, which were once manually or digitally created over time, can now be produced almost instantaneously using generative AI tools. This acceleration unsettles the value system that celebrates the painstaking skill, sustained effort and unpredictable originality traditionally associated with creative labour. Working with academics, artists and industry, our current project asks:

1. How do creative industries and universities navigate the temporal logics of AI-driven creative production?
2. What is lost and gained for creative researchers, artists and production in this AI-driven gear change?
