About the CPEIS
Founded in 2016, the Centre for Political Economy and Institutional Studies (CPEIS) is an interdisciplinary research centre dedicated to advancing and disseminating cutting-edge research in political economy and institutional studies. The centre promotes rigorous scholarship grounded in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
CPEIS serves as a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue on key issues in political economy and institutional analysis. It fosters innovative perspectives that go beyond purely economic explanations by emphasising the crucial role of non-economic factors, including formal and informal institutions, political cultures, social norms, and value systems.
By integrating these dimensions, the centre contributes to a deeper understanding of political, economic, and institutional behaviour.
