Submit your personal statement for feedback (undergraduates only)

If you have completed your personal statement, we offer one personal statement review to each undergraduate applicant, so we strongly recommend reading our guide on how to write a personal statement before drafting and submitting your personal statement. Your draft will be read by an expert member of our Access and Engagement Team. 

Please note: this service is only available to those applying for undergraduate courses at Birkbeck. 

Once you have followed the guide and you are happy with your draft personal statement, please enter your details in the personal statement checker and copy and paste your statement into the form.

For the purpose of this checker, there is a limit of 4,000 characters including spaces. We encourage you to be as succinct and concise as possible. If you are applying to Birkbeck directly, and wish to add content after your statement has been checked, you are welcome to do so.
