What is a foundation year degree?

These degrees last four years (full-time) or six years (part-time).
You spend the foundation part of the degree developing core skills and acquiring key knowledge before moving on to specialist study during the rest of the degree.
The foundation degree is designed to build your confidence and help you succeed.
