Remote access/VPN
Most services have been moved into the Cloud and no longer require a VPN to access them.
There are, however, a limited number of services that still require connection to the on-premises network. These include access to some of the services used by the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences.
Remote devices that meet a minimum-security level (i.e., are patched, on supported operating system) can be connected to the Birkbeck network using the Virtual Private Network (VPN).
