Biography
Lorenzo is a Lecturer in Accounting in the department of Management at Birbeck University. Before joining Birkbeck he was senior lecturer in Financial and Management Accounting at Greenwich University from 2014 to 2017. He had been working from 2011 to 2014 at KPMG Italy as tax and business consultant with a focus on financial reporting; corporate and VAT consultancy to national and multinational industrial groups; GAAP principles; IFRS principles; due diligence in M&A.
He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Florence, Italy where he was research fellow and adjunct professor. In 2009 he was a visiting scholar at Columbia University in New York. In 2008 was a visiting scholar at the NYU Stern School of Business in New York.
In 2004, Lorenzo graduated with a Magna Summa Cum Laude (first class honours) Business Administration Degree. Since 2008 he is also Certified Public Accountant and Auditor in Italy.
