Biography
Before joining Birkbeck in January 2006, Professor Xiaming had held various academic and management positions in Shanghai and Hangzhou (now Zhejiang) Universities in China, and Abertay Dundee, Aston and Surrey Universities in the UK. Prior to becoming an academic, he had years' agricultural and industrial experience in China.
