Supervision
I welcome enquiries from prospective PhD students who are interested in undertaking research in uncertainty quantification problems for converging beam LIDAR systems. This will typically require sufficient background knowledge in: multivariate distribution theory; inner product spaces; real analysis; linear algebra. This will also require a willingness to consult with an industry colleague from Wind Farm Analytics Ltd. from time to time.
I will also consider the possibility of supervising projects on diverging beam LIDAR provided that you have a co-supervisor from industry to call upon.
