The Physiological Society has released the report ‘The Future of Interdisciplinary Research Beyond REF 2021’. It makes makes recommendations on how to increase the quantity of interdisciplinary research and address current barriers within the research ecosystem. The report looks at the future of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) as well as related factors such as the publishing landscape.
