Event Report – Linking London T Level Practitioner Group Meeting
On the 2nd October, Linking London held the first T Level Practitioner Group of this academic year 2025-26.
After a warm welcome from the chair Sultan Soukani, Assistant Principal at HRUC, delegates heard first from Suzanne Hall, Head of Sector Development at Pearson who gave a T Level update including the Summer 2025 results and upcoming T Level developments; outlining the rollout of Generation 2 T Levels.
A college and university partner update then followed. Discussion included, summer exam results, challenges with T Level recruitment and retention and new T Level delivery. We also had an update from the Education and Training Foundation who provided a summary of the ETF offer for T Level delivery providers and the upcoming events and support available.
We then heard from Robin Goodman, Programme Lead (Construction) and Louise Dennis: Industry Placement Liaison Officer, Exeter College who shared Exeter College’s experiences as an early T Level provider delivering Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction including the challenges to delivery, building strong employer relationships and destination data.
The next T Level Practitioner Group Meeting will be the 29th January 2026, 2-4pm.
