Meet 11.00 a.m. on site. These woods are situated near Shamley Green, B2128, Surrey, a few miles south of Guildford. A map will be sent to those coming. A car is needed to get to the woods. There will be a pick-up point at Norbiton station for those coming from central London (time to be arranged). Contact Una one week before so that transport can be arranged or directions given to car drivers. This is a unique opportunity to re-visit Patrick’s woods (Sandhurst Copse and Sheepwalk, a total of 32 ha) and see how they are being managed. We are very grateful to him for this visit.
