Find out more about travel in the medieval and early modern world and join the discussion. Anthony Bale, author of A Travel Guide to the Middle Ages, and Eva Holmberg, author of Writing Mobile Lives, 1500-1700, will discuss the opportunities and challenges of writing about travel in the past. Some brief extracts of primary sources will be posted to you before the masterclass. In the masterclass will consider how we might respond to these sources, and you will have the opportunity to describe your own critical and creative approaches. Please be sure to read the primary sources in advance.
